Miami Breakers FC 2006 Black emerged as champions in the prestigious Bethesda Premier Cup Boys U9-U19 tournament with a perfect record of 3 wins and 0 losses, earning 9 points. The team played their first match on Friday, November 18th, 2022 at the MD SoccerPlex-24, facing off against the Washington United Soccer Club WUSC 06. Miami Breakers won the game with an impressive score of 3-0.
The following day, on Saturday, November 19th at 11:00 am, Miami Breakers faced Virginia Development Academy VDA ECNL U17B in a closely contested match. However, Miami Breakers managed to score a solitary goal and emerged victorious with a score of 1-0.
On the last day of the tournament, Saturday, November 20th, Miami Breakers played against DUSC B2006 Blue. Miami Breakers took control of the game and dominated their opponents, winning the match with a score of 1-0.
The Bethesda Premier Cup is one of the most competitive youth soccer tournaments in the country, attracting over 1,200 top clubs from around the nation, with 80% of the teams hailing from the Mid-Atlantic region.
It is considered a "must-attend" event for top teams and college recruiters alike. The tournament, which takes place over two weekends in November, brings together approximately 18,000 boys and girls aged 9 to 18, along with 3,500 officials, coaches, managers, referees, and tournament volunteers. In addition, the tournament attracts at least 36,000 parents, siblings, relatives, friends, and fans as spectators.
